All eyes will be on Gujarat and Haryana fixtures in the final group stage round of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament scheduled for Sunday (January 5, 2025). Here's all you need to know about VHT 2024-25, Round 7 Group A matches. (More Cricket News)

Unbeaten Gujarat lead the eight-team group, with the latest win coming against Goa, by six wickets, on Friday. A win in their final group match against Odisha, and Axar Patel & Co. will seal a direct quarter-final spot.

On their heels are a buoyant Haryana side. The defending champions are on a five-match winning streak after the opening-day defeat to Gujarat. They need a big win against minnows Manipur to stand a chance to win the group, in case Gujarat fail to beat Odisha.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the knock-outs with the top five group winners automatically making the quarter-finals.

They will be joined by the best of the second-ranked teams in the last eight. The other four second-ranked teams will play in the pre-quarterfinals with the winners completing the quarter-final line-up.

So, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Goa, Odisha, Assam, and Manipur are of the race.

Gujarat vs Odisha at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur;

Goa vs Jharkhand at Jaipuria Vidyalaya Ground, Jaipur;

Haryana vs Manipur at KL Saini Ground, Jaipur;

Assam vs Uttarakhand at Dr. Soni Stadium, Jaipur.

All four matches start at 9:00 AM IST (local time).

The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 group stage matches will not be telecast on TV or streamed online. The knockout matches will be streamed live and telecast on JioCinema and Sports18 channels.

The knockouts will begin on January 9777sm, 2025, with preliminary quarter-finals. The final is scheduled for January 19. All knockout matches will be played in Vadodara.
